Our Story

Shovel Squad wasn’t born from a business plan – it grew out of a genuine need for snow removal support during harsh winter storms. When heavy snow hits, demand surges, overwhelming traditional providers who can’t take on new clients mid-storm. This leaves homeowners and businesses with hazardous sidewalks, blocked driveways, and unsafe conditions – that’s where we come in.

For over 18+ years, our sister company has been a trusted leader in winter management in the Lower Mainland, backed by one of the region’s largest workforces. In 2019, our founder, Isabelle Bailey, a winter operations expert, launched Shovel Squad! BC’s first On-Demand Snow Removal service. Starting as a nimble solution for urgent residential needs, we’ve grown into the region’s go-to for reliable snow clearing, serving everyone from households to major corporations.
